About the Speaker
Dr. Issam Said Ibrahim Partner, Healthcare Business Development| Ministry of Public Health, Qatar Quality & Food Safety Electronic System Manager at Food Safety Department Dr. Issam Said is a food safety expert at Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health, with an experience in implementing national food safety systems, and leading risk-based inspection programs. He has led major digital and strategic initiatives, including the development of WATHEQ, Qatar’s Food Safety Electronic System, and the establishment of the Food Safety Call Center. As Quality Manager in food safety department, he led the successful implementation of ISO/IEC 17020 certification for the Food Safety Department and contributed to the Food Handler Permit Program and Third-Party Inspection program in the country of origin. Dr. Issam played a strategic role in formulating the Qatar Food Safety Strategy in alignment with the WHO Global Food Safety Strategy and member of the WHO Food Safety Alliance. He also provides specialized training in food control and quality management systems.
