Food Safety Consultant , She holds a PhD in Food Safety from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. She has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Environmental Health Section, Project Manager for Environmental Health, and Assistant Project Manager for Food Safety within the National Health Strategy. She also led the technical team responsible for food safety monitoring during major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup 2022. Additionally, she managed several key projects, including the Food Establishment Classification Project and the Food Handler Certification Program. She participated in working groups for developing projects related to the establishment of a Food Safety Authority, and contributed to the development and updating of national food safety policies, including procedures for food monitoring and surveillance, food incidents and emergencies, and risk analysis. She played a key role in developing inspector training programs, ISO quality management systems, and the “Watheq” system. She represented the State of Qatar in GCC committees for agricultural and food product standards and was a member of the National Committee for School Canteen Management.
